PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Visottica Industrie S.p.A., with registered office at Via Vecchia Trevigiana, 11, 31058 Susegana (TV), Italy, in its capacity as data controller (hereinafter the “Controller”), provides this notice to the data subject pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter the “GDPR”) and in accordance with European and Italian personal data protection legislation.
This notice supplements the Privacy Policy of the website www.visotticagroup.com to explain to users how the Controller will specifically process the data entered in the “Contact” form.
Purposes and legal basis of processing
The Controller will process the personal data collected to respond to the user’s request for information and manage any subsequent communications, including sending the commercial information, quotations or documentation requested.
The legal basis for processing is the taking of steps at the data subject’s request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or, where the enquiry is not aimed at entering into a contract, the Controller’s legitimate interest in responding to the enquiries received (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data retention period
The Controller will process the data for as long as necessary to respond to the enquiry and manage subsequent communications, after which the data will be erased or anonymised. If the enquiry leads to a business relationship, the data will be processed as described in the customer privacy notice, which will be provided to the data subject at that stage.
Provision of data and consequences of refusal
The provision of data marked as mandatory (name, email address, subject and message) is necessary, as without them the Controller will be unable to respond to the enquiry. Providing the name of the company to which the user belongs is optional.
Disclosure of data and categories of recipients
The Controller will not make the data publicly available. Data will be disclosed exclusively to internal personnel authorised to process them according to their respective duties, and to professionals, companies or other third parties carrying out outsourced activities on behalf of the Controller (e.g. website management and maintenance, hosting and email service providers), who are therefore appointed as processors under a specific contract or other legal act.
Transfer of data to a third country and/or an international organisation
Personal data will not be transferred to non-European third countries or to international organisations.
Rights of data subjects
Data subjects may ask the Controller to provide access to their personal data and to rectify inaccurate data, to erase data or restrict processing where the relevant conditions are met, and to object to processing on grounds relating to their particular situation where processing is based on the Controller’s legitimate interest. They may also obtain data portability where applicable.
To exercise their rights, data subjects may use the form available here and send it to the Controller at the following address: privacy@visotticacomotec.com. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
